I have been using HandyHelpers, LLC for four years for yard maintenance and other handyman services. My experience has been nothing less than excellent.
I met Jason, the owner, on Thumbtack. I initially hired him for basic yard services. He is friendly and personable, and we developed immediate positive rapport. As Jason reliably provided his professional services I was not only impressed with his work, but it was clear I could trust him to perform additional duties such as laying sod in bare spots in my yard due to my lack of maintenance prior to hiring him. I also hired HandyHelpers to build a French drainage system at my property line, had them perform tree maintenance and also helped with some repairs and hauling services. All the work has been done quickly and very professionally. If I ever have a question or in the rare case something is overlooked, they are quick to fix and make anything right.
I have referred HandyHelpers to many of my friends. We are all professionals with busy schedules. We have high expectations and little time to do some of this work ourselves; yet expect nothing but excellence. Jason and HandyHelpers deliver superior and conscientious services each and every time.
Jason and HandyHelpers will offer services to maintain work I’ve requested, or he instructs me on how to ensure the project remains successful. In the few cases where I’ve tried to do more myself than I can handle, Jason is nonjudgmental, and comes in to save the project.
People with such high ethics, knowledge, and problem-solving skills are a special rarity, one I feel fortunate to have found in Jason. I highly recommend him for any project he feels he can take on. If someone were to have an issue with his work, he goes way above and beyond to make it right. If someone still isn’t happy, it’s clearly a problem with the customer, possibly with an ulterior motive to manipulate charges or recoup already spent money on delivered goods and services, which is not only unethical, but illegal.

To be accurate, Jason was handed a disastrously neglected lawn when we first hired him to do the landscaping.
At first, he worked really hard to just to get the lawn to an acceptable level. But, as time went on, he made improvements and suggested changes. We did not even know that the property had a sprinkler system! Jason dug out all of the sprinkler heads and even set the timer for us.
It became apparent that Jason was an expert and that he was trustworthy. As such, we have given him full reign to improve the landscaping and beautify it. Jason knows our budget and he never exceeds it. Visit by visit our lawn is becoming quite beautiful.
In fact, one of our neighbors, who has seen the lawn evolve, took the time to come over and tell us that the lawn looks fabulous! That felt good. Thank you Jason!
